Fundraiser for Hurricane Dorian

Together with The Bahamas High Commission, let us join hands to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the victims of Hurricane Dorian in Abaco and Grand Bahama.

This storm was unprecedented for the country, leaving dozens dead, thousands homeless and billions in damage.

October 28th , 2019

50 Sussex – Home of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society

6:30pm: Welcome drink, sponsored by Top Shelf Distillery. Live auction and remarks from His Excellency Alvin Smith, Bahamas High Commission to Canada.

Red carpet valet service provided by Mark Motors Group

7pm – 8:30pm: Join us for the Canadian premiere of the documentary based on the award-winning book: ‘Pigs of Paradise: The Story of the World Famous Swimming Pigs of The Bahamas’

8:30pm – 10pm: Fresh canapes prepared by three Ottawa chefs. Participating chefs include: Harriet Clunie from The Wandering Chef Catering, David Godsoe from Restaurant 18 and Justin Champagne Legarde from Bar Lupulus. Cocktails and refreshments served.

Tickets – $75 per person

*For those that have the capacity, larger donations will receive 100% charitable tax receipt.

*All proceeds to go towards the NEMA & Bahamas Red Cross.
