RPRA Board Meeting

Board meetings occur on the third Wednesday evening of the month, except in July and August. All board meetings are open to the public.

  1. Opening Remarks: President
    1. Welcome Directors and Guests
    2. Invitation to Guests to address meeting re Rockcliffe Park Pavilion initiative
    3. Quorum, attendance, minute-taking
    4. Correspondence received and sent; proposed Draft Heritage Committee mandate letter

Approval of Agenda: (RG)  Call for Motion to approve

  1. Minutes: Discussion of draft minutes for June 16, 2021 meeting – Peter Lewis

IT IS MOVED that the Minutes (marked Draft) June 16, 2021, identified in the Board Drop Box as “June 16, 2021 Minutes”, be accepted and approved.

  1. Quarterly Financial Reporting: Treasurer JB
    1. Bank statements received and forwarded to finance committee – RG due to absence of MCH
    2. Treasurer’s information report – JB.
    3. Discussion of multi-year membership “pre-payment” – RG, JB
  1. Heritage:
    1. Discussion and motion for adoption of Heritage Committee Mandate letter– RG
    2. Request for board member volunteers to “visit”/serve on HC for temporary term LD
    3. Update on Rockcliffe Park Secondary Plan, Smart Living Homes Beechwood Site Plan and permit application update- RGG/DG/SD
  1. Community Building:

Report of working group for a social event for October, 2021, and update on use of Community Centre which is not presently permitted in accordance with the Province of Ontario rules for social gatherings. RGG

  1. Environment:

Pond update: Parking along Pond Street, water testing, other MW

 

Invitation to guests to comment on our meeting.

Next Board Meeting:  October 15, 2021, bringing forward:

Funding submissions to The Rockcliffe Park Foundation, Updated Mandate Letter for the Environment Committee, Planning for RPRA “social event” (if possible)

 

RPRA Board meetings are open to the public* (for attendance virtually) 

Members and residents who wish to attend the virtual meeting are invited to access the link distributed to Members by email and on the web-site approximately one-week before the meeting.

Conference call option will be followed if not all directors are able to utilize video platform – in which case: 7:15pm start time, or at such time as interruption of Zoom meeting may unexpectedly occurs.
