Children’s Holiday Party and Tree Lighting and Carol Sing, Dec 11

On Wednesday, December 11, at 5 pm, all children are welcome to come to the Community Hall for sleigh rides (parents welcome too), gingerbread house making, crafts and a light supper too. Following the Children’s Party, at 6 pm, is our time-honoured Tree Lighting and Carol Sing with the Salvation Army Citadel Brass Band.  The Elmwood Children’s choir will perform, followed by Cynthia Baxter and Tom d’Aquino who will turn on the lights of the giant spruce tree. The Salvation Army’s Citadel Brass Band will lead us all in singing Christmas Carols. Hot drinks and snacks provided.
